Character Through Diversity, Challenge & Accomplishment
Dozens of District Two students received a helping hand from Colorado Springs Dodge to start off the new school year.
The dealership, located at 7455 Austin Bluffs Parkway, filled the back of a pickup truck with donated supplies over the course of several weeks.
Donations included backpacks, notebooks, crayons, and several other items students will need in the classroom.
On Aug. 2, the supplies were delivered to the Southeast YMCA, where staff filled the backpacks in preparation for the fourth annual Back-to-School Summerfest.
The backpacks were handed out at the community event at Deerfield Hills Community Center on Aug. 4.
District Two is thrilled to have the support of Colorado Springs Dodge, as the dealership's generosity will have a lasting impact for Harrison students.
