Harrison High School student, Nathan Walberer, is attending Air Force Jr ROTC Flight Academy at Purdue this summer and had his first solo flight last week!
While attending the flight academy, Nathan will try to earn his Private Pilots Certificate. He earned approximately $27,000 in scholarships to help pay for transportation, room and board, and ground and flight fees. He will also earn college credit and a transcript from his chosen college. There were 1300 applications for the scholarship and 200 selects.
