The Class of 2025 has delivered extraordinary results. Our graduation rate jumped 6.7%, reaching 89.8%, putting Harrison School District 2 above the state average of 85.6%. Even better, this marks the highest graduation rate in more than a decade and the largest improvement in the Pikes Peak Region.

We’re especially proud to celebrate Harrison High School (grad rate of 92.2% which was a 7.7% increase), Sierra High School (grad rate of 85.2% which was a 4.6% increase), and Career Readiness Academy (grad rate of 69.2% which was a 19.2% increase), all of which set new graduation rate records this year. These milestones represent persistence, grit, long hours, and a lot of belief — from students who stayed the course, educators who refused to give up, and families who supported them.

This success belongs to our entire D2 community.

Your trust in this district matters — and it’s producing visible, meaningful results. The 2018 bond allowed us to improve every one of our schools. The mill levy passed 14 months ago is helping us retain great teachers and ensuring D2 graduates can attend Pikes Peak State College at no cost. Those weren’t abstract promises. They were commitments — and today’s graduation data shows they’re paying off.

To our students: you earned this.
To our teachers and staff: your work is changing lives.
To our families and community members: thank you for believing in D2 and investing in our future.

This is a moment worth celebrating — and it’s only the beginning.
