Intermural Sports

  • Soaring Eagles is happy to provide intermural sports for students 3rd through 5th grade. Look for flyers to come home with your student(s). 

    Cross Country is a sport where you run long distances. Each day we will work on running form and then go over to Soaring Eagles park and run. Our goal is to run 4 laps or more around the park which equals 1 mile. Meeting place: outside in front of the school.

    Flag Football is an opportunity for students to work on the basic skills of football. Gameplay includes an understanding of offensive and defensive skills. Meeting place: outside in front of the school.

    Volleyball is an opportunity for students to improve on passing, setting, and serving. Participating in drills along with playing the game of volleyball will give students the opportunity for practice. Meeting place: outside in front of the school.

    Basketball is an opportunity for students to work on the basic skills of passing, dribbling, and shooting; along with the rules of the game and how to play it. Meeting place: outside in front of the school.

    Hockey is an opportunity for students to learn how to pass, shoot, and dribble in the game of floor hockey. Students will also play games and learn how to be a goalie. Meeting place: outside in front of the school.

    Kickball is an opportunity for students to learn the rules of the game along with how to kick and catch a kickball. This will help prepare them for the teacher and 5th-grade kickball game! Meeting place: outside in front of the school.

    Soccer is an opportunity for students to work on the skills of dribbling, passing, trapping, and goalie skills while learning the rules of soccer. Meeting place: outside in front of the school.
