Marisa Murphy, Assistant Principal

Hi Carmel Falcons and welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am so excited to begin my 12^th year serving the Harrison School District 2 community. During my time in the district, I have had the privilege of teaching grades kindergarten, 2^nd, and 5^th. Entering my fourth year as Assistant Principal at Carmel, I continue to be inspired by the dedication and creativity of our students and staff. As a Colorado Springs native, I grew up blocks from the Pikes Peak Park area and know from experience what a dynamic community I serve. I am a firm believer that with investment in genuine relationships, nurturing social-emotional skills, and modeling high expectations for achievement, our students will have the tools and skills necessary to excel. We have so much to look forward to this year and I am honored to be a part of the journey. We are so excited to have students back in the classroom and are committed to providing rich learning experiences this year. Thank you for being a part of the Carmel family! Go Falcons!
