Hello Soaring Eagles Families and Community Members!
My name is Sarah Lindholm, and I am truly honored and humbled to be joining the Soaring Eagles family as the new Assistant Principal! I have been a proud member of the Harrison School District 2 family since 2006 and I believe that this is the best place to learn and grow for educators and children alike. I am originally from Minnesota and earned my Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota (GO HUSKIES). After graduation, I ventured out west to Colorado. My educational journey began many years ago at Soaring Eagles Elementary school as a preschool teacher. I then served kindergarten and first-grade learners at Sand Creek Elementary for eight years before moving to Oak Creek Elementary in 2016. During my first year at OCE, I served as a K-5 reading interventionist before becoming the building’s Instructional. As a self-identified lifelong learner, I have earned a Masters in both Special Education from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and Educational Administration from Argosy University. In my free time, I love exploring the great outdoors of Colorado through hiking, kayaking, and camping. There is nothing better than fresh mountain air. I excited to serve the Soaring Eagles community as I return to where my journey began, now as your proud Assistant Principal. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime you have a question or concern. Although we can’t meet in my office this year, we can always talk over the phone or virtually.
