• Create your free account as a "Participant" via www.practiceplan.io
• Search for facilities using a zip code or campus name. 
• Enter all requested information to complete the rental request.

Payments are due at the time of the rental request. All rentals must be paid for by credit or debit card. Cash, money orders, and checks are not accepted. 

Contact the facility you are interested in using directly. You can find a list of our schools with phone numbers and individual websites on our Meet Our Schools page.

General office hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm but please note that hours differ by school.

Fees collected for facility usage cover many items, including:

• Offsetting a portion of the increased maintenance cost for fields/facilities due to wear and tear
• Offsetting a portion of energy needs required for usage of indoor facilities (HVAC, lighting, etc)
• Covering the cost of District personnel required to be present during the activity (i.e. custodian, theater manager, etc.)
• Supporting a portion of expenses for the Facility Usage office, including personnel expenses and facility usage management software program fees
• Allowing for purchase/replacement of District equipment used by outside groups due to wear and tear (volleyball systems, scoreboards, etc.)
• Replacing any consumables used by group during activity (i.e. theater tape, lighting gels, etc.)
• Any additional revenue will be invested back into facilities

Yes. The hours requested in the application are the hours that your group has permission to use District facilities and should reflect all set-up, rehearsal, program, and takedown time needed.

Rental requests go through a three-tiered approval process. Please allow a minimum of two weeks, and up to four weeks, for review and approval. Your request is not considered approved until you receive an official confirmation email.

All approval confirmations are sent automatically from our rental platform, PracticePlan, using the email address info@practiceplan.io. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.

You can also track the status of your rental request anytime by logging into your PracticePlan dashboard at www.practiceplan.io 

Yes. Harrison School District Two requires all renters and rental groups to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before submitting a facility use request. The COI must be uploaded to your Practice Plan profile; the system will not allow you to submit a request without it.

Insurance coverage requirements are as follows: 

• Entities covered under the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act must provide proof of coverage at least to the limitations established in the Act and acceptable to the District.
•  All other entities must provide a COI with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for all facilities (except the swimming pool, which may require higher coverage). 

The Certificate of Insurance must list Harrison School District Two, 1060 Harrison Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80905, as additionally insured. Please note: the specific school building you are renting should not be listed as the insured party.

Rental requests for district holidays or closure days will not be approved.

Weekend rental requests are permitted, but approval is dependent on both space availability and the District's ability to secure appropriate staffing. Because of this, please allow a minimum of two weeks, and up to four weeks, for weekend rental requests to be reviewed and approved. 

All rental payments must be made at the time of the request through the PracticePlan platform. Payments can only be made with a credit or debit card. Cash, check, or other forms of payment are not accepted. 

To cancel a rental, log in to your PracticePlan account, go to your Dashboard, then select the Reservations tab to cancel your reservation. 

A full refund of the rental fee will be issued if the facility can be rented to another party for the same date. 

If Harrison School District Two must cancel your rental due to inclement weather, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, the District will attempt to reschedule your rental or issue a full refund.
