Upcoming Events

  • As of March 1st we have started a new Iditaread challenge. It is based off of the real Iditarod, have your child show you around the school one day following the Iditarod Trail. As students in each class read and log minutes of reading, their class dog sled will move along the trail. There are prizes for individual students and classes! We are also doing this as a friendly competition with Oak Creek Elementary, so there are prizes for the winning school. Every 20 minutes your child reads at home until Spring Break will equal 5 miles on the Iditarod Trail! We will be ending this with a special Drop Everything and Read day on March 23rd and the Mayor will be here to celebrate reading with us!
