Dana Seibert, Assistant Principal
Welcome, Aspire Online Academy families to the second year of our school. I am Dana Seibert, your Assistant Principal, and I am honored to be serving our families. This is my 19th year working in Harrison School District Two but my connection to the district spans thirty years. As a native of Colorado, I grew up in the Harrison community, graduating from Harrison High School. Long before working for the district, I was a parent volunteer at my children’s elementary school within the district. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts and master’s degree at UCCS, I student-taught at Oak Creek Elementary. I was then hired at Soaring Eagles Elementary where I taught fifth-grade math and science for 12 years. From there, I became a math coach for the district before moving into the role of coordinator for the gifted and talented program.
My vision and goal for Aspire Online Academy are to set students up for success both academically and social-emotionally. To do this, I will set high expectations for staff, students, and parents as well as myself. The 2022-2023 school year will be a year of growth for all of us as we boldly step into the online world of instruction. I am truly grateful you have decided to embark on this amazing journey with us. Working in partnership with you, we will create an educational environment that will capture the hearts of our students to be successful lifelong learners.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Steve (also a Harrison High School graduate), our grown children, and our amazing grandchildren. We enjoy all things outdoors – biking, hiking, camping, and four-wheeling.
This is going to be an amazing year and I look forward to meeting our students and families. Feel free to reach out anytime.
