  • Update for State Assessments 2021
Dear Mountain Vista Community School Families,

We thank you for your efforts in supporting our students and teachers during this school year. We have a great opportunity to measure the accomplishments of all our efforts through state assessments.

As we prepare for the upcoming assessment window, we are committed to delivering the best instruction and the safest environments to our students. We would like all our families aware of our UPDATED assessment schedule as we prepare for the CMAS/CoAlt for grades 3-8.

The following tests will be REQUIRED:
    ELA - Grades: 3, 5, 7
    Math - Grades: 4, 6, 8
    Science - Only Grade 8

OPTIONAL ELA or Math testing (must sign up by 4/2/21):
    ELA - Grades 4, 6, 8
    Math - Grades 3, 5, 7

    Tests and Calendar

Our current board policy is that parents may excuse a student from state testing by emailing the school principal. The policy for our district is here.
