CSU Pueblo: Colorado Promise Offers Free Tuition to Students in Colorado with Family Income of $50,000 or Less
Colorado State University Pueblo announced a new enrollment initiative called Colorado Promise, which offers free tuition to new first-time Colorado residents with a gross family income of $50,000 or less. This tuition guarantee requires full-time enrollment and is guaranteed for one year, but can be continued for up to four years if students maintain eligibility.

Gazette: Space Foundation helping Pikes Peak region high school students learn how to start space businesses
With the help of a $1.5 million Department of Defense grant, the Space Foundation is teaching 60 students each from District 11, District 20, District 2 and District 3 lessons about aerospace and engineering with a curriculum built around what would be needed for a trip to Mars.

KKTV: Free before- and after-school child care for Harrison School District 2 families already has over 1,000 students enrolled
D-2 kindergarten to fifth graders can show up to 14 locations in the district five days a week. The program began in August and already has about 1,012 students enrolled.

Harrison School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program from June 6 - June 23 and July 5 - July 21, Monday through Thursday. Meals will be provided to all children under the age of 18 without charge. Meals must be eaten on site, please click here for locations & times.

Come get a free backpack and, if needed, back-to-school vaccines at the upcoming Backpack Bash on Saturday, July 30, 2022, 10 am - 1 pm, at Sierra High School. This is a great one-stop opportunity for back-to-school vaccines offered by El Paso County Public Health. The student must have their vaccine record and a parent with their ID present for the vaccines. See our flyer for all of the details in English & Spanish.
