Each spring, high schools in Colorado Springs are asked to nominate teens in grades 9 - 11 who have demonstrated a commitment to serving others, who have overcome adversity or unique obstacles in life, who have achieved something significant and who set good examples and are positive role models - but who are not teens who routinely receive recognition. A panel of community judges review all the nominations and select the Mayor's Top 100 Teens.
