Harrison School District Two

The DistinguishedSupport Staff Certification helps define what exemplary performance looks like in practice. We believe that staff will be more likely to reach for and achieve a high level of performance when this is recognized and rewarded.

Certification Process consists of four parts:

1. Nomination and prior exemplary summative evaluation
2. Submission of the application
3. Classroom or workplace observation by a review committee
4. Review and scoring of entire packet using a rubric

Certification Award for Support Staff

• $1000 bonus each year for three years: May 2009, May 2010, May 2011
• Upon second certification, $2000 a year for three years

Eligibility Requirements
The following eligibility requirements apply:

• Must be a current employee of HSD2
• Must have a current exemplary evaluation
• Must be a full-time employee
