As the Public Information Officer of Harrison School District, Ms. Lyle is a key advisor to the Superintendent and responsible for providing vision and leadership for the District's communications department. She has a true passion for serving the students and families of the Harrison Community. Harrison School District is one of the most innovative and progressive school districts in the nation and is committed to student academic success.
Ms. Lyle earned a B.S. in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University and completed a master's degree in Social Work, with emphasis in Administration and Planning, from the University of Texas, Arlington. Ms. Lyle has over twenty years of nonprofit experience, with strong backgrounds in program development and planning, communications/public relations and fundraising. For six years, Lyle served as the Director of Community Relations for Community Partnership for Child Development. Her department of six was responsible for community relations/communications, volunteer management, grant writing, corporate and individual giving, and major gifts and events. By her efforts, the donor base increased by 1,000 new members and $3.2 million was raised. Prior job roles included Early Head Start Director for CPCD, Communications Manager and Child and Family Therapist for the Pikes Peak Mental Health Center.
Ms. Lyle is a twenty-two year resident of Colorado Springs and is happy to call the Pikes Peak region "home." Christine is a graduate of the Leadership Pikes Peak's Signature Program and serves on the Board for Second Wind Fund of El Paso County.
She keeps busy and grounded with her two fantastic children, Dallas (16) and London (14).
Fun fact: Lyle's first placement as a Child and Family therapist was at Carmel Middle School in the Harrison District.
